Re: Vet by the Airport

Which Vet by airport? There is the one on the corner just as you make the turn toward airport and then further down the road there is ABC (not sure of name). I have used both and the one on corner I stopped going to because of inadequate care. Changed to ABC, great care, compassionate. I have had on...

Passport Renewal

I need to renew passport. Bangkok Embassy states "only by mail" and current passport must be included (no exceptions) My concern is, what if I am asked for my passport by the "powers that be" while my new passport is being processed? I do have copies but will a copy suffice? Also, there are delays i...

Re: US Passport Renewal

Why not send an email to ACS Bangkok to get some answers directly from the Embassy? Did that. They state all passports must be done by mail and old passport must be included, no exceptions. The problem is they stopped issuing passports until recently and that is on a limited basis. They have a back...

Re: 90 DAY REPORTING WORKING WELL..

I would like to hear from someone that has been in Thailand over 5 years and has had success filing a 90 report on line.I have read on an expat forum that the data base for 90 reporting may not work for those of us who been here longer than 5 years. I find this hard to believe because I would think...

Re: 90 DAY REPORTING WORKING WELL..

This morning I tried to do a 90 day report online using both the Immigration eService App and the online website in my desktop browser, and neither were working. I tried in both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers. Will try again tomorrow as today is Sunday and they could have shut it down fo...

Re: 90 DAY REPORTING WORKING WELL..

Re: 90 DAY REPORTING WORKING WELL..

Did my 90 day report at Udon Thani immigration today. Was a bit concerned by the queue OUTSIDE - there were about 15 people waiting at 2.30 pm. An awning had been erected and chairs put outside (with social distancing) . A desk with staff is outside. Had to wait a couple of minutes while someone wa...

TM 30 Form

I just read an interesting question on another forum where the BM asked if he needed a TM 30 form for extension. He owns a house, has a blue book for his wife and a yellow book for himself for the past few years. His question is; are Immigration asking everyone for the TM 30 form even though you hav...

Re: US Soc. Security Questionnaire

Yes, I am not as concerned as I used to be. This happened to me once before but I did receive it in October rather than June. I was told there are 2 mailings. If the do not receive a response from the June mailing they send out another form in October. I think you are right, hopefully, they will giv...

UPS is very expensive. I would ask the EMS Service at the Thai post. I have used them over the years, sent item to USA with no problems, good and prompt service.
