Re: Medications costs Hospital VS Local Pharmacy

Picked this story up on another site. Outrageous price differences Buying prescription medication in Thailand. "Up until today I got all my medication from the hospital, I stayed with them for one year after my operation as I didn't want problems with side effects or anything else. Today I went for...

Re: Health Scare In Rayong, Visiting Egyptian Delegate Had Covid-19

And ,will this happen again in the future?? SURE WILL!! I think the Egyptian individual or E Delegation should be made to pay (reimbure business and others) for the cost of the incovenince that he/they have caused. There are to many acts/breach of quarantine, where individuals or groups with total ...

Re: Visa Extension

Any option that involves crossing a border will more than likely mean a mandatory quarantine, and of course any traveling increases risk of contracting the virus. Eliminate the imponderables that nobody has any control over, namely 1 ) Amnesty extension by Thai Immigration or otherwise. 2 ) Borders...

Just back from a wet trip to Udon immigration they are doing nothing until the 31st if July or are given new instructions from Bangkok.
So the only way to ensure that you can stay is to go with the visa service, and then if they decide to extend things you are spending money for nothing.

Re: Visa Extension

Well it will be interesting to see how this unfolds. I am here covered by the amnesty till July 31. I normally return to my home country or border run to get extensions to stay, this year I got caught out with this Covid situation. I am married to a Thai and we also have a child. I cannot believe T...

Re: Visa Extension

Very frustrating indeed. Not sure how opening up the Loas border a few days before helps, the consulate will be swamped and it is normally by appointment only, and what about returning to Thailand, Covid tests???, Quarantines in Nong Khai???? What a mess no consideration for those with family ties.

Re: Visa Extension

Has anyone ever gotten a 90 day non o visa (marriage or retirement)from Udon Immigration. The one you normally get out of the country. Re: America coming apart at the seams?

If you look at history, in fact many great leaders or motivators were not highly intelligent or even super genius, but they had the ability to form a team in which they let the people of that team run their own specialities in line with the general theme of what the leader wanted . Trump sadly is N...

Re: America coming apart at the seams?

As a community organizer who never worked at a productive job, Obama got elected twice with only his gift of gab. Anyone who can fool that many people for eight years has to have a fairly high IQ. Huh??? Far from just that: Obama taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School for...

If your life depended on it, who would you back for the highest IQ score, if they had to sit for a test and could not cheat.

Clinton, Bush jr., Trump or Obama.

Re: For crying out loud...

The cure then is to open your mind so you can review all the known facts and make a decision based on the evidence. It's easy if you try. Not sure what point you are trying to make??? If BLM don't protest against Black on Black violence, then they should not protest against Racial inequality and Po...

Re: For crying out loud...

So to dismiss BLM because of Black on Black violence, only proves the merit of their protest. Black lives matter, so the saying goes. If that motto is true why isn't BLM protesting and marching against these murders. BLM matter is hypocritical because they ignore deaths within their own community. ...

Re: For crying out loud...

Interesting to see several comments about Black on Black violence, which is serious problem, but that does not mean that the BLM movement is somehow dismissive now. Many protests have merit, but on closer scrutiny contradictions and flaws can be found. You always have to look at the big picture, and...
