Re: Ashes 2019

This is what the Ashes is all about, a struggle and a backs to the wall effort needed from the poms, trying to save the game and the series. There is going to be a result today and only 2 ways to end. Poms lose it and the ashes are back on Aussie soil, win it and the series is well and truly alive w...

Re: Cardinal George Pell

None of them has the death penalty except the USA - so take your pick. All of them have had child abuse by the clergy, and historical cover-ups. But only one of them has gone through the processes I outlined earlier. Lets not forget the British history of abuse of children in Australia. A bloke cal...

mathusalah80 Sorry I missed this original post by you, glad you got your grass. To keep this going as a landscape thread send a photo of the finished project. Once the lawn is placed then for the upkeep. You said shade grass, is this under a tree or along a shaded area of the house? Since the house...

Ashes 2019

I'd also be tempted to bring in Stark Starc learnt how to bowl at Headingley when he played for Yorkshire. I think it would be a mistake not to select him. I’ve been missing to the IT internet world of the living lately being at times 1.3 kilometers below the gobi desert. But caught this last post....

John

I hear there's been some sprinkling of rain in UT of late, has this affected progress?
Having the building covered and partially sealed does allow things to progress inside.
Are your windows to be fitted soon. What type and makeup of the windows did you go for?

Re: Ashes 2019

Think they should play a "Test" on the Canterbury strip. Yesterdays totals Essex 74 - 9 Kent 40 all out (from 9 - 5) Essex 153 - 7 267 runs and 26 wickets At one time kent were 28 - 8 and there had been 10 balls where runs had been scored (6 x 4's 4 x 1's) and 8 balls that had taken a wicket :yikes...

Which part of what I said is "false information" Barney? Australia produces about 15% of it electricity from renewables - way behind even the UK at 36%, and even China at 25%. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_electricity_production_from_renewable_sources The Snowy Scheme as it exi...

We also have an abundance of sunshine, saint. But while there has been a big increase in the use of solar, while you have troglodyte, conservative governments in power, being propped up by coalminers' money, things are going to improve only slowly. C'mon Mr Spratt, As much as I find some of ...

Re: Ashes 2019

The poms with Joffra's inclusion have by far perverted the use of the player eligibility rule to allow him to be included. They changed the criteria to get him in the team early by a couple of years. He moved to England in 2015. The 7 year citizenship rule was not adhered to. 2022 was to be his firs...

ajarnudon, Good result for you with this roojai company. I think since they were first mentioned on UM some time ago , I think by Vince, that they have slowly improved their policies to provide a better product and problems with claiming. I find them to be well above the others with extras and promo...
