Re: Death of Mel Mills Ban Dung RIP

Mal died from a slow brain bleed, which lead to a hemorrhage a few weeks ago. The car accident was a result of the hemorrhage which Mel had ignored/discounted over period of a week or so. It wasn't the cause of his death. He was admitted to hospital in Udon after the accident, where he died. I, alo...

Re: U.S. Politics

. . . Based on what I read, there were American citizens, holding dual citizenship and living elsewhere, who were told to pay taxes due. That's the same thing every American citizen faces living outside the US. Its even true for me. So? None of that has anything to do with the 3% digital tax or Tru...

Re: U.S. Politics

Trump should look at the American taxation system before declaring the tax proposed by France is unfair. The US even tried to tax Boris Jonson on the sale of his UK home. Maybe you need to familiarize yourself with the US tax code. Depending on the capital gains from the sale of property in the US,...

Re: U.S. Politics

. At the end of the G7 summit and at the dual press conference of Macron and Trump, Macron announced that there has been ongoing compromise discussions regarding Trump's efforts to protect US tech companies from additional taxation. I guess the threat of taxing French wine made a difference. This w...

British Embassy in Bangkok Demolished

The British Embassy in Bangkok has now been demolished. The new embassy is in the process of relocating to a “modern office space” in the AIA Sathorn Tower in Bangkok’s central business district, the FCO has confirmed. Has anyone used or contacted the new Embassy yet. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/...

Re: Ten things the Thai Government need to do right now

Looks like they are going to loose a lot more Chinese Tourists in the very near future. China is investing in a tourist resort in Cambodia near Koh Kong. It will probably take away a lot of other tourists as it is a lot cheaper than Thailand with the strong baht at present Dara Sakor, a new China-ba...

Re: Just an observation

Just did a count of the threads on the main current page. There are 7 out of 32 which are constantly displayed every day. It is the same 5-7 posters who constantly keep these active. As DM suggested give them 1 or 2 threads relating to American politics & leave the rest of the threads to the rest o...

Re: World Cup

In fact the final was played between England and New Zealand. But you didn't ask for a fact you asked for an opinion ( So In your own options who should have actually won? ). My opinion is still that Australia should have won because we usually do (also a fact). Facts are also what are in the score...
