Re: Antifa Now Terrorists

The ANTIFA group of idiots are not smart enough to organize these riots themselves. With them being designated as terrorists, the government can go after those who are funding and organizing them. Perhaps some of the punks will no longer have the money to travel around the country causing trouble.

but question for you glalt, are you happy to see the worldwide death rate increase by 30% ????
Obviously you pull numbers out your head. None of your numbers make any sense. 30% ???? Where does that come from other than your imagination.

Re: Ride-on (or Riding) Lawn Mower?

I definitely would not buy one of those cheap (expensive here) riding lawn mowers. I made the mistake of buying one, a Murray I think. My house was on 10 acres of which I mowed about 5 acres of it. The piece of crap Murray lasted less than 2 years and something was always broken. I bit the bullet an...

Re: America coming apart at the seams?

This would be a good time to find out who is funding and organizing these terrorist groups.

Re: The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is ...

The lock down no doubt saved lives. The problem is those who isolated will be susceptible to a second wave. Kind of a pay now or pay later situation, isn't it? In the meantime lives will be lost because of the financial meltdown.

Re: The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is ...

I think isolation was a huge mistake. That will cause a second wave in those who have not developed natural antibodies from being exposed. I just read an article that stated the death rate is .26 percent. Yes, point 26 percent. I don't know where these wildly inflated numbers come from. How many of ...

Re: America coming apart at the seams?

I think the cop was obviously wrong, BUT, I don't believe this violence was because of that guy's death. These were very organized riots designed by terrorists who just needed an excuse.

Re: Hip Surgery

A friend of mine had a total hip replacement at the Bangkok nursing home. He refused the new method called keyhole surgery. This guy was a tough old bird. He was out of bed the next day and was playing golf two weeks later. Totally successful. From hardly being able to walk, to playing golf two week...

Re: US Presidential election odds

There are bad cops the same as there are bad people. They need to be eliminated. That said, why are some people stupid enough to resist arrest? They know they can't get away and bad things could happen to them for resisting. It's NOT OK to spit in a cops face, insult or fight with them.

Re: Yorkshire the county God forgot

The raid on the submarine pen was a tremendous act of courage. When they considered that their chances of getting back home were slim to none it takes a certain type of men to go ahead. It reinforces the fact that freedom isn't free.

Re: The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is ...

This virus can kill the feeble and elderly. How many of those people would have died anyways? Colds and flu kill many people every year. Pneumonia is a killer and is usually brought on with having a cold. I think the danger was grossly exaggerated. Many unfortunate poor people live day to day and ta...

Re: The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is ...

We cannot blame the government for taking every precaution they deem necessary. It was a fast spreading thing that no one knew anything about. HOWEVER, the fatality rate is much lower than expected and perhaps isolation of healthy people was not necessary or prudent. At this point the damage to the ...

Re: Ride-on (or Riding) Lawn Mower?

Thanks glalt, That looks like quite a machine. I am trying to figure out how I would get to Sa Keao to look at it, it also looks just a little too wide to fit in a normal size pickup bed. I'll have to think on that one, might give the fellow a call and see if the mower deck is detachable and also h...

This one is on Baht Sold. It looks like a great piece of machinery and is a fuel savings diesel. I'd jump on it if I needed a big mower.

Re: Why won't she marry me

I knew my wife for a couple of years before I could talk her into going out with me. She considered herself to be an old maid at 35 years old. She never was married and had no children. She does have a mind of her own and she is very independent. She admitted that Thai men don't like her because she...

If the world doesn't get the locomotive back on the tracks, more people are going to die than from the virus. I say that even though I am in the highest risk group. Get back to work and let it run its course.
