1 ) Chinook Someone might recognize the word as referring to a species of salmon or a type of Canadian military helicopter, but only a true Canadian knows a Chinook is an unseasonably warm wind that rise over the Rockies and heat up as they descend. The Chinook helicopter is a Canadian concept? Oh ...

Re: Udon Thani International Airport

Yes, as good a theory as any, I suppose. Although, if I use my wife's modest property renting portfolio as a measure then I would say prosperity is picking up this year? But yes, opening up UTH as an international hub would open up more business for the region. You don't seem to be doing a very good...

Re: Udon Thani International Airport

I may be one of the few here on UM who has used Udon Airport internationally. In April 2007, when I moved full time to Udon, I flew from Singapore to Udon on Tiger Air. The flight was pretty much full - mainly I think with locals returning home from their labouring jobs in Singapore for Songkran. A...

Re: English Premier League 2018/19

I'd like Newcastle to win that one Alan but I don't think I'll put a fiver on it. I don't know much compared you guys about English football. But so what? That's not a vice. Poor manners is. The English Premier League juggernaut is very keen on foreign interest in its product. One reason I chose to...

Liverpool 0-0 Manchester United
Poor game for something that was suppose to be a classic encounter.
Don't worry Mr. H, my money has gone on the Man City game. Despite predicting a 0-1 win for Man Utd, I just didn't have the strength of character to place money on them (this time).

OK, found the precursor video. The Aussie grabbed a parang and chased the guy so the Aussie obviously took his road-rage to the next level. Then also drove his car at and hit the guy who eventually decked him. Case closed... don't let grandad do the school run any more. Yes, I posted the Coconuts r...

I reckon Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd. I'm not sure if I'm brave enough to put money on it, though. I might stick to Man City - Stoke.
