Re: LED Printers? Any good?

Do you have any issues with the ink cartridges drying out if not used for a while in hot & humid Thailand? My inkjet in the UK dries out after about 3 month of inactivity

Re: Front doors

Nigglyb , Your'e very welcome A better quality Upvc set of french doors , as long as the slave door is fixed well , should not bounce . Coming from a maintenance background ( Stowe School ) I am finding it hard as well trying to get tradesmen to do the job they say they can do . There are skilled m...

Re: Front doors

Hi Nigglyb Just in case you are still thinking of Upvc , I have run a double glazing repair business in the UK for a very long time , so I would advise staying away from Upvc double doors , a single door would be ok , but a double has nothing solid to shut against and would normally bounce . Most o...

Re: Front doors

Well no I didn't get them from a different website. They are on the Häfele website https://www.hafelethailand.com/product/58889/ชุดมือจับดึง and this is the link. There is also a website where you can check the stock of your choice http://checkstock.hafele.co.th/?sku=903.05.794 and they have your c...

Re: Front doors

My bad, thought the part numbers had been posted. Can't make the picture resolution any clearer Left 903.05.794 Right 903.05.894 Completely different fittings and if you look at the other pictures it's very clear Yep I'll concede if I look at the pictures you've posted its very clear. However, you ...

Re: Front doors

If you look carefully it's is actually quite easy to see, or work out, one of the differences between them Nope, you've got me, I can't see the difference. The pricing is on a different page but like I said the one on the right is B3000 more expenchip The right hand one doesn't mount at 90 degrees ...

Re: Front doors

I'm probably over thinking this.
The one on the right shows an additional dimension which I can't work out where its for but apart from that these two handle designs look exactly the same to me.
Theres B3000 difference between the two

Re: Front doors

That's got to be a typo, 3cm doors would break. You can get door blanks in Thai Watsadu, Global House and most likely everywhere else too, I'm at Thai Watsadu tomorrow, I'll tell you what they have in stock. It wouldn't be the first time Global's website has a typo. Unfortunately it seems to be the...

Re: Front doors

Didn't realise 100cm wide doors would also be so difficult to find. However, there seems to be a few on the Global House website. A pair of these might work if finished nicely although only quoted as 3cm thick which seems a tad thin for such a large external door. https://i.postimg.cc/PxfJJ8MF/Captu...

You will use up one of your permitted bags though.
No worries on that front. I'm not usually allowed to take anything anyway & Mrs N fills the suitcases with chocolate & other jumble I'd tried to throw out from home

Re: Front doors

It does help if you know where to look. 8-[ The handles I quoted were only 1 and there are about 8 more stiles to choose from. I don't have my Häfele catalog with me at the moment as it's in the other house so can't give part numbers but you can download the Häfele app and they are in the architect...

Re: Front doors

Maybe an option to bring over on the plane next time. Good luck with an oversized item like that I would have thought a reasonably thin, long bubble wrapped parcel would go through the oversize luggage counter okay. Re: Front doors

They are from Prime-Asia and I reasonably sure that if you want the hande to release the lock then you are going to have no choice but to go with a complete door and handle. I've never seen that type that activates the lock available separately. Or you are going to have to import the hardware yours...

Re: Front doors

Just saw you want uPVC, so my comment not pertinent but in the UK a lot of people will use door blanks (fire check doors) which would work fine if you treat them properly. If you decide to try the door blank (very inexpensive) method I can help with advice, I did lots of them when I owned my joiner...
