Re: British PM to face No confidence vote tonight

cancelling a press appearance The media aren't as interested in reporting the news as they are manipulating it to meet their advocacy agenda. Why would any politician who espouses a platform the media doesn't approve of, subject themselves to their word games? Hand them a press release (or a Twitte...

Some of the EU countries are extremely successful countries with very high standards of living, good health care systems and score very highly when measured how democratic they are. They set the bar for other countries.

Re: Those were the Day's

Our lead guitarist was messing about one lunchtime in the record shop he worked in. He was wearing his favorite dark chocolate colored crushed velvet loon pants and squatting legs akimbo on the low stool behind the cashiers desk with his feet up on the desk and decided he'd try and light a fart. The...

I think it started with sneaking some of dads Old Spice but yes, I went through the Brut 33 and Aramis phases in my teens. When it comes to floating my boat, I also went through Ann Fraser, Pamela Roberston, Liz Leith, Isla Laing, Morag Massie, Jane Byers, Eva McLean, Gail Summers, Lorraine Adams. T...

I met Lulu at the Two Red Shoes dance club in Elgin back in February 1964. Got an autographed picture and a snog... not bad for an 8 year-old.

Fort William recorded their first league win 882 days with a rousing 1-0 stomp of fellow bottom-dwellers Clachnacuddin.

yes , plausible deniability. a few jabs with the permanent marker, they'd have to send the plates off to lab to check for residue. 8-[ ill spend 40b 40 baht now... and 200-400 baht later, depending on how the MiB feels. Mind you, we are into rainy season and the traffic checks all seem to diminish ...

I buy my grog here. He has biggest selection I have seen. I don't drink spirits though, so not sure of his prices of them. Worth a look just for interests sake. Nice fella too! Mick I had bought some cheap cigars there before but never checked his beer, wine and spirits selection. As I waited at th...

Jamesons

I went to mix a sundowner last night and found that the last of my Jamesons has sadly evaporated.

I have seen it most anywhere but beyond Big C and the like, is there any place in Udon where imported spirits can be had for possibly a wee bit less?

Re: BoJo momentarily shows his balls...

Having lost 6 mission-critical votes in as many days, I hear that BoJo is going back to school with the Englanders cricket team. His prorogation or parliament went well though, all the way to around 2 AM by all accounts. "As Conservatives left the chamber with the Speaker to attend the House of Lord...

Re: RooJai Car and Motorbike Insurance

Just a heads up and, no big deal but, called to cancel my insurance today as I am replacing with a new vehicle with insurance via dealer. Apparently, if you cancel in the first year you get a rebate but, they deduct the THB 1000 voucher given when taking out the policy. Seemed fair enough! Generall...

I did an Air France stopover at Nouakchott airport on the way to a job in Guinea. There's a hurricane fence at the end of the runway and the houses and desert spreads beyond that. But you need to be seated up high like in the plane to see the Sahara over the wind-blown plastic-bags that line the hur...
