Re: Formwork building method

I see one builder in Udon who offers this - and seems quicker and cheaper to build. Basically they create two 'framework' walls and pour concrete in to create them. Seems pretty widespread in the US for decades - and on large projects. Questions: 1) anyone used this build method 2) wouldn't the con...

Lazada and homepro both sell electric ovens but definitely make sure your wiring can handle the load as they use a lot of power.

Music licence for public broadcasting

Hi all
This is for khon kaen but the kk forum section is offline. The question would be the same for Udon or anywhere else though.
To be able to play YouTube and tv in a public place like a cafe etc would I need a licence and if so where would I get it?

Thanks

Takes about 10 minutes to download new add ons and 5 mins to configure them. A small price to pay for free movies and tv.

I am watching via a Windows 10 Dell Laptop with HDMI to my tv
Just download a screen capture app and record the viewing window then play the file back later.

Building a new house - Cost advice

To have a house built with good quality materials by a professional construction company not a bunch of farmers masquerading as builders you are looking at between 16k and 18k per square metre. That's including all materials and also includes electric showers, toilet, tiles, paint, sinks and taps et...

Re: building a house near a rice field

The FYI regarding building on piles in Udon area: Piling works great IF you go down to bedrock. Much of Udon used to be seabed. In many places, there is clay several and even dozens of meters deep. Your piling contractor may stop when they hit hard clay rather than bedrock. In that case, things may...

building a house near a rice field

I had my house built last year on rice paddy. We had the land raised with 300 trucks of dirt and then on my Builders recommendation we had it piled and built on piles and pads. It's solid as a rock and even after a ton of rain we are still above the water line. A few other homes nearby got a bit wet...

Hi all. Wife and I are ready to build a bungalow (single story) in Kut Chap (about 20klm west of Udon). We are financially conservative ie not the cheapest but certainly not the best.! We would love to hear from anyone who has built any house in this area, especially if they can recommend a builder...

Re: Planning a Swimming Pool

My mate used Together Construction Thailand to build his pool and they also built a shelter for it. It turned out great. A few months later he added roll down tarps to the shelter to keep the leaves and crap out of it which works great. It's basically now an indoor pool [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone...

Re: Pizza boxes

Do you have a Facebook page and a phone number? Mate is opening a restaurant soon in kk and is looking for wholesales of meat, cheese and many other items. I know he has been on to a lot of suppliers around the country so maybe you can throw your name into the mix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
