Re: Solar Power

I do thrust inverter type, the main difference is that it is build to work 24/7. Non inverter is more start - boost - stop system. My 9000 BTU cools our bedroom and bathroom without any issues. (Bathroom 3 * 3, bedroom 3* 5 meter) I do say, it's running 24/7. We have tick walls great insulation. Cei...

Re: Isaan red clothes...

I have had the same problem over the years, l put it down to the water the clothes are washed in, the red (brown) dirt staining whether from the Well or Village is evident in all our tanks and pipes. Whole house Filter definitely helps. I don't buy white clothing any more. Lol :D Yes, an other vict...

Re: Solar Power

There are solar air-conditioning... Sold sadly almost only as a set with solarpanels. It would be strange to to the DC to AC to DC on special made for :-) And while it does have less parts, they are a lot more expensive! Even if you deduct the solar panel. Even more strange, as they're supposed to w...

Re: Solar Power

For me.... We have no grid. No alternative. Closest connection option is 8 km from our home. It would cost million to get the grid connection. Some good news, I fixed one of the GAIA inverter, it is having additional ventilator strapped to it in case of an other fan failure. The new inverter will be...

Isaan red clothes...

Hi guys, Am I the only one? My clothes get Isaan red.. Https://ibb.co/3k6q3pC https://ibb.co/3k6q3pC Link to picture : https://ibb.co/3k6q3pC https://ibb.co/3k6q3pC It looks like my sweat (salt?) is having a reaction with Isaan red clay dust. When I was regular back in Holland, my laundry machine at...

Re: Solar Power

:-) I couldn't agree more. My system is also highly over capacity. This to ensure long life. 4 lines of 4 12v batteries parallel and series give the same redundancy as 4 separate system. Same goes for my original 2* GAIA, later 3*. Sadly the 6000w unit is not as lasting as it's smaller brothers. My ...

Re: Waiting times to pickup your order (DoHome)

DoHome is a really good shop for be, as long as I do not have to be at the pick-up department at the back of the store. They have many registers (and need as they are not the fastest) and get their work checked by different people. Out on the parking lot, they have an excellent team for packing and ...

Re: Waiting times to pickup your order (DoHome)

Only gripe was they were insistent on B300 delivery charge even though I'd just spent a couple of hundred thousand on materials LoL. Yes, also Thai. You can get discount on your tiles, but no chance they will give up the delivery fee.... Different guy, department, money stream.. I will look at this...

Re: Waiting times to pickup your order (DoHome)

Big Lot? New name / store for me! Must be worth to check-out. We started out roof buying sheets from DoHome Strange there are a lot different vendors out there, with all their own colours... Dark blue can be a lot different... And waiting for DoHome to get stuff back in store... That Is a lesson qui...

Waiting times to pickup your order (DoHome)

How do you guys deal with it?? Sometimes I need to buy stuff at DoHome that is not inside the store, you get it at the warehouse in the Back... Arch... You provide a paper to a guy and wait... Wait sometimes more then 90 minutes for them to getting (partly) order... Then you need to move to differen...

Re: Solar Power

Many posts about solar... Many :-) For me, I have not an other option. My (new to build) home is 3km away to the electricity grid. I like to use, looking at the possible costs, it ain't funny. I can buy panels local, about 3500 Baht per 300W polycrystalline Bigger problem is storage for night. Are t...

Re: Solar Power

My new replacement inverter came yesterday. It is connected and running exactly as it is supposed to. I was again surprised that they sent it UPS so it got here quickly.
Longer then 3 hours this time =D>

We live on a farm, about 8km to the closest grid. 100% solar only :-) ( and for spare / temporary high power request a 6000w generator) Now we have 2 x 300w mono crystalline and 4x 120ah wet cell. As we are planning to build our own family house, for my wife and I and out kids.... I need a house... ...
