Regardless of the Royal status i don't think a persons paternity is a suitable subject for a discussion on this or any other publicly available forum. In truth NONE of us can ever be sure who fathered us unless a dna test has been conducted, so we could all be a load of b....rds, literally.Suggest t...

Re: Bringing money from the UK question

A mate from the UK is coming next week. What is the best option for him re: bringing at least £5k from the UK for at least 3 months in UT? Example: traveler's cheques, bank transfer, etc., etc. When my family visit me they pay pounds into my Transferwise acct and I change it into baht as they need ...

Re: Transferwise.

Yesterday made a transfer from pounds to Baht, was quite surprised when my mobile rang just 40 seconds later, Bangkok Bank telling me money received. Thank you TW couldn't get any better than that.

Re: Meats & More (Sponsor)

I normally try to keep away from this sort of tittle tattle but this is getting ridiculous, here we have a guy putting his money and a lot of effort into providing us with a vast range of food that otherwise wouldn't be available to us, when I first came to Udon 17 years ago there was no choice, it ...

I think Saint summed it up perfectly, echos my sentiments exactly but we have now got to find a way to shut up the ginger haired dwarf from over Hadrian's wall and life can go on as normal, whatever normal is . :-"

Re: The U.K.'s Christmas Election

Yes I'm afraid so , at my age after so many years of worrying about all and sundry I have realised no one is going to worry about me except myself and experience has taught me its no good worrying about what you can not change, especially when it doesn't effect you. It's a fruitless exercise, bette...

Pound looking good.

The doors are open , let voting commence. The money markets are quietly confident of the result, hence the pound back to 40 again, its looking promising, but will get better if Bojo wins, the bigger the margin the better the pound. By breakfast time tomorrow we will have a good idea, hopefully Bojo ...

Re: Meats & More (Sponsor)

price and weight please ... . M&M is the best Farang food outlet I have seen in Udon Thani. Anyone who shopped at Chern Chim would attest to that, nothing in the shop was priced, and the poor shop assistant had to telephone the Boss , in front of me, for the price of a tin of soup. Other Farang out...

Young people also have moral significance and their interests should be considered.
To me life is but a relay race, we have done our leg and now passed the baton on to the next generation, how fast they go is up to them, time for us to sit back and watch them .

Re: The U.K.'s Christmas Election

Well I'm in a quandary, should I transfer some cash now and enjoy it's current level based on predictions of a strong conservative win, around the 40bht mark or should I wait a couple more days and enjoy a little bit more if they do, but knowing it will plunge dramatically if its a hung parliament a...

But Boris laughing at the Trumpet in full view of the worlds media has just put an end to his post brexit "Special Trade Deal" To be fair though the only difference it will make, is that today NOBODY will believe the deal is possible, as opposed to yesterday when it was NOBODY EXCEPT BORIS =;...
