Re: Post Covid ecomony

guess that depends on how quickly the "curve flattens" and governments can push people back to work. In the U.S. with the multi-trillion dollar stimulus I fear that eventually inflation will ratchet up and destroy the value of the dollar. That certainly would impact on my being able to live here in ...

I was a bit flummoxed at the site https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do and silly me it took me a bit to figure out that I had...

Re: Farangs who don’t wear face masks should be kicked out of Thailand says health minister

with the crappy AQI in Udon for the last week why would anybody with masks not wear one when out and about?? The air is filthy.. I'll grant the masks used are not N95 and won't be particularly effective against 2.5 micron particles but they will get part of it and that's gotta help your lungs..

the bureaucracy is not known for its agility in amending or suspending rules. In this situation you would think a waiver of these fees is merited..

Re: Lao Railway Progress

now laying track at 2 kilometers a day.. That's 500 meter continuous spans of rail. The entire Lao to China railway is about 440km so 220 days to lay the entire rail structure.. Scheduled to open late next year. Bet it opens early. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/international/2020/03/28/1st-rai...
