Re: English speaking Doctor

I am a patient of Doctor Aram and only went to Aekudon Hospital because he worked there. I didn't really like the hospital, but the doctor is very trustworthy. When he told me last year that he would soon be working at Bangkok Hospital Udonthani, I was very happy. Were you able to transfer all your...

Re: English Premier League 2019/20

Been watching the American Football play-offs and realised the PL are missing a trick regarding VAR. Whilst a VAR decision is pending it's the perfect opportunity to put on some TV commercials. Then, like the American game, wait for the commercials to finish before commencing the game. Think of the ...

Anyone else experiencing poor picture quality on True?
Fixed it. :D
Recently had True fibre installed. They fitted the new router under the TV box. Moved the TV box away from the router and everything OK. Unfortunately moved it away just in time to see the Brighton goal. :D

Re: English Premier League 2019/20

The off side law is out of date now we have VAR. I like the idea Graham Souness has suggested. It'll still come down to millimetres but a lot more goals will be scored.

Re: Rte 2 to Rte 22 to Nong Sai by-pass

I live in this area and this idea seems half baked to me. Just look at the ridiculous curve once has to travel and with all the intersections this couldn't possibly save time versus the main ring road if traveling north. Read the OP. It mentions an over-pass. Will be much quicker for traffic travel...

Grab now collecting outside the ring road.

Recently used them to take and collect from the airport. Good cheap service and brand new car.

Renewed at main office on Highway 2 Monday. Not a soul there! No video. Just identified colors and pulled string to align sticks. Had license in about 10 minutes.
That's good news Charlie. Hope it's the same when I go there on Friday. Immigration tomorrow. Not a good week for me. :D

Renewing Thai Driving license at AEK

If you want to renew your Thai driving license at AEK transport office and you don't have a Thai ID card your out of luck.
They now operate an appointment system on-line that only recognizes Thai ID numbers and not the passport number on a falang held driving license.

Bangkok Bank 12 months proof of income

Just a heads up that if you bank with the Bangkok Bank and extend your visa via the monthly income route the bank requires 7 working days to provide a letter of proof of 12 months income. I have previously gone down the 'letter from the embassy route' and assumed it was just a case of popping into t...

John Flemming RIP

John Flemming, (Jock), suddenly passed away yesterday after suffering a heart attack.
John was a well liked and respected member of the local golf scene. An all round nice guy who will be much missed.

Never got into rugby.

Couldn't get my head around that one of the fundamental tactics of the game was to stop play by kicking the ball off the pitch.

Re: UK Economy

Whats with this idea of Yellow Hammer being a "worst case scenario" ....... that was disproved days ago when they found the pre cut and paste orig which shows the document with the title as "Base case" (or the EXPECTED scenario) ... The Worst case scenario is the "Black Swan" document, and "kingfis...

Re: UK Economy

Blimey, that answer threw me. It's astonishing and seems rather unworldly. Perhaps the UK and EU need some new infrastructure at the points where goods move between the 2 countries. For example places where longer queues of lorries can be parked up and buildings for thousands more officials to supe...

It all started to go tits up for England when that numpty Anderson declared himself fit for the first test.
Despite being a bowler short England should have kept their foot on the Aussies throat when they were 118 for 8. :(
