Re: Alcohol sales ban!

The only logic i can see in not selling alcohol with a meal is maybe the diners may stay a little longer at the table drinking . Yet the process of drinking a beer is no different from drinking a coffee or sickly sweet beverage . The results are different , but not the process . With limited seatin...

Re: UK News

He has to go. He should also face a criminal sanction. A fine, or whatever is usually imposed. The British elite failed to take the Coronavirus sufficiently seriously and as a result over 100,000 mainly elderly Brits will die. The figure might go over 200,000 in the next few years unless better cou...

Re: power bill reductions (covid-19)

our bill seemed to reflect our higher consumption during April-May billing period. So, no match with our February bill, higher by about a thousand baht. I thought that your bill would only match Febs bill if you used less than 800 units in April , May . My consumption was well over 800 units , but ...

Re: U.K. going on lockdown, USA stopping restricting movement. WTF

Just watched some news ,80% of the deaths in Canada are in care homes . That's shocking . If this does turn out to be seasonal like the flu it won't be long before there are no old people left . People go on about 99.99%of people don't die , I wonder what the death rate is once your 70years old ? I...

Re: UK News

The UK badly needed a feel good story but that was several weeks ago. What are they going to do after he's Knighted to deflect from the UK government's ineptitude and duplicity? I expect Boris to be on the phone to you very soon . :-" He must know you could run the country with its current crisis m...

Re: crawling under each others skin

Udon map is not the same as it used to be, when I first joined people were much more civil and helpful. In the most part it seemed like a different breed back then, today we have a lot of whiners and sarcastic people that won't accept others opinions and would rather play the keyboard warrior. Many...

Re: Udon Immigration office lately

Went to Udon Immigration this morning to apply for my annual extension of stay which originated from a Non-Immigrant O-A Visa in 2010. I changed it from an extension for reason of "Retirement" to "Marriage to a Thai National", thus avoiding the need to show proof of health insurance. The cost for t...

Most of the fans, rice cookers, coolers and fridges I have seen in Big C the last few years have a "Made in Thailand" sticker on them. I agree Jack . But theres made in Thailand , and then theres made in Thailand . If its say a Panasonic product made in Thailand with Japanese quality control and we...
