Re: Marrying a Bar Girl?

Re: Decline of British economy

Empires rise and fall, and the fortunes of countries wax and wane. Britain had its day in the sun, now its empire (and captive market) is gone. Some adjustment has been made and there has been some success in reviving the British economy - but there is no good reason why Britain should dominate the ...

Re: 'US missiles' hit Pakistan town

I think soon to be ex-president Bush (and his mates) are very silly to "attack" Syria (despite the Syrians being a bit b*astardish also) - the world needs a bit of stability now - not another potential armed conflict. Bye bye George - the sooner you go the better. A pox on all fear-mongering and war...

Re: Thai Tattoos (Sak Yant)

I can remember reading in the book "One Crowded Hour" about Cambodian soldiers going into battle with a small Buddha in their mouth. Sadly they ended up just as dead as the unprotected ones. Horses for courses I suppose. John I can remember reading in the book "One Crowded Hour" about Cambodian sol...

Re: Socialism vs Capitalism

Jack Spratt - correct - it should have been past tense - I was trying to make a point about 2 standards, rather than argue the status of the Wheat Board.

Re: Socialism vs Capitalism

The tendency of "business" (or capitalists) is to monopolise a market - to eliminate competition and by limiting consumer choice, be in a position to increase prices and maximise profit. A general role of government is to regulate to ensure that competition exists (and provide maximum value to consu...

Re: Socialism vs Capitalism

Quoting Milton Friedman on socialism is really scarping the bottom of the barrel.

How long has Milton been dead?

Why not quote Ronald Reagan - would make about as much sense.

Re: Hope springs eternal?

I agree with TJ that a 17 year old can be in cahrge of her life (my mother was 19 when I was born). But I must admit that I feel uneasy about the union of a 17 and 65 year old. Would this be good for her? Who can say - perhaps an "older" man would teach her things and allow her to grow in a way a yo...

This might seem a silly question ... but .... is it reasonably common for Thai sisters (or even just friends) to engage in 3 somes? I know Thai girls are a bit "out there" when compared to others, but I just cant see a farng sisters doiong same. Could any of the "old hands" from Udon comment on this.

A fart is an art that comes from the heart
And spreads through the body with ease

When it reaches the breeches it bursts all the stiches
And splatters the sh*t to the knees

Don, A very sad tale. This is all very current - over the last few days.
