Re: Lovely ?? Remarks from Thai Health Minister !!!!

Talking about square pegs and arse holes, I see that the perpetual walking disaster of a UK politician has been given another high-profile job to cock up. From Justice to Transport, this one-man wrecking ball is now getting a crack at Intelligence. Don't panic though, it's probably the last step on ...

Re: Has anybody thought this?

Back on topic. That's a very interesting article and the author's have done a solid job of stressing that since this novel coronavirus is less than 3 months old and only flagged as pandemic ~10 days ago, there's a whole lot of hypotheticals in their reasoning. The huge difference in population densi...

Re: Lovely ?? Remarks from Thai Health Minister !!!!

^ Good point well made. None of my satisfied clients, who watch me in the professional work place safely completing yet another on-time and under-budget project, have any idea that I attended all their pre-project conference calls while sitting at the computer bollock naked and posting off-topic and...

Re: Has anybody thought this?

Supermarkets worldwide are being gutted by panic buyers and other ignorant people loading up multiple trolleys. We drove past a few very busy local markets this afternoon on our way to Ubon. We stopped at the last one to get something fresh for dinner and we didn't see any evidence of panic buying....

Re: Why the nastiness?

The other thing you do involuntarily, is lift your eyebrows. Ever noticed that, you walk towards some body coming in the opposite direction, you don't look at them, and just as you pass, you look up and raise your eyebrows, and maybe let out a small grunt. Seagulls cant do that. And seagulls can't ...

I have been saying this for years, The internet and all its wonderous assets is in fact a place where Social Interaction , is doomed, we are becoming insular only going out to purchase the necessities of life do we in many cases interact with our fellow human beings . The art of small talk, chit ch...

Re: Savannakhet by car

Mrs tam's Thai passport has expired so she will probably need some time to get the temporary Lao entry permit with her Thai ID card. IIRC from a long-ago bridge crossing at Nongkhai, she needs to get this from the Thai authorities before heading over the bridge? Anyone with experience of that rigmar...
