And on that note the Americans should surely help....The Americans insist they can not assist a non Nato country. I ask was Afghanistan a Nato member.???...NO. Was Iraq a Nato member.???....

Re: Transiting at Changi Airport
I agree that the airlines are a good source of up to date requirements for international travel. I always fly Singapore airlines if I can and always cross reference with what the airline and the country of travel criteria requires to be sure. In the case of entry into Australia the Airline is aligne...

If you go to the AUSTRALIAN DEPT OF HEALTH website it clearly states that a RAT test is acceptable but must be done within 24 hours of travel and signed of by an authorized person such as a doctor.
Cheers.

Spot on Ken..
No problems at all to transit through Singapore....
As of Feb 22 you do not even need to show proof of being vaccinated to transit.
And yes a rat test is fine done 24 hours prior to departure and signed of by a doctor.
1500 baht cost in Bangkok.

Re: all about booster shot in UTH
The commonwealth requirement yes is 2 jabs...All other states only require such.
The states can set their own entry requirements after entry.
I can assure you that the entry conditions set by Western Australia are 3 jabs.
Please go to WA health for the latest details.

My mother is 92 and I have not seen her for almost 3 years so it is an easy decision for me to make..!!

Re: Renew marriage visa
FrazeeDK... Please get your facts right...You are wrong..!! No insurance is required for a renewal of a marriage extension or a retirement extension. The only one that requires insurance is a multi entry OA obtained in your home country which can be valid for 2 years if used correctly. Where did you...

Re: Converting a tourist visa
To save all the stress to get done before you leave I would just go home for xmas and come back on a 30 day and buy a cheap throw away ticket to anywhere out of Thailand to satisfy immigration. Before you leave get the 800K into a Thai bank account ( Bangkok bank is best as I said before ) for futur...

Re: Converting a tourist visa
Hey sometimewoodworker...
Samster has said he is going back to UK anyway for Xmas...
Surely easier if he got his 90 day NON O there and then convert using the 65K method 2 months prior to expiry of NON O.
Best option I think...!!!!

Re: Converting a tourist visa
Samster.. UK validations are no longer accepted by Thai immigration for retirement extension's. Has been this way for some years now..Same for Australia and USA. You could get a 90 day Non O in the UK when there...And then convert once in Thailand to 12 month retirement extension. If using the incom...
