I've missed him like a cancerous hemorrhoid -- an amateurish hack whose primary audience is lonesome, old, withered men who still get a tingle at memories of Tilac Bar circa 1989. His tedious routine and hackneyed, unoriginal tripe is only interesting to the most jejune and simple-minded among us.

You are a troubled man.

Sorry if my assessment doesn't coincide with yours, but that's my take. It's juvenile twaddle rehashing "the industry" (wink wink, guffaw) every laborious, mind-numbingly fatuous week, year after soul-destroying year -- rephrased, repeated and restated ad nauseam. I would rather pluck out my eyeballs with a fondue fork than read another of those timeworn, platitudinous accounts.

Dont let us stand in your way giggle especially if we can get braille keyboards banned :-k

Just think without L S Lowry & stickmen, Quo would never have had their first hit single (Pictures of matchstick men) and the rest probably may never have been history

I'll deliver them in person to make sure they get there safely, I'll even make the video, for free!

Never a fan of stickman although sometimes some of his ghost writers would come up with something a bit more pithy or thought provoking.

I liked the updates if I was planning reprising visits to the old haunts and the pictures were always great.

I much preferred Trink actually.

"...but I don't give a hoot!"

PS. the article linked shows the original TQ on Beach but he's mislabeled it as TQ2 which was the other non-affiliated branch up Soi BJ that after subsequent reincarnations (Bah Dah Bing was good) expired many, many moons ago.

I couldn't agree more. I made it through about half a paragraph of his drivel and have never returned. But, there are members who swear by him and bow down at his feet waiting for his latest pronouncements.

To each his own, personally I really used to enjoy the stories and information on Stickman. A wealth of info for a newcomer back in 2003 when I first arrived. Nowadays it is not all about the bar scene and there is good info on the site, unless of course if you are one of the truly amazing guests of the mighty "kingdom" of Thailand and know everything already.
