What a lazy lot you are! I clean my own car regularly, admittedly not sure if because it's a task I can make a fair job of, or meanness. . I might invest in a 'professional' car wash if as below, but somehow think it might cost more than a few hundred baht!

Update on PT car wash. Standard pressure wash, rub down and interior vacuum for a 4-door pickup is 220 baht.tamada wrote: ↑March 4, 2018, 9:44 amTimely resurrection of this thread... thanks Faraday.
The car wash on the Nong Sai road has already moved onto their own, larger premises and is still doing a decent job. I recall they have a 399 or 499 baht 'special' that gets the engine a steam clean, car a pressure wash and a thorough internal vacuum and wipe down. Air conditioned coffee shop on site. Plenty staff but on 'special' weekends, can take a few hours unless you get there early.

Update on Team Captain...
Last went there 2/3 weeks ago & had a thoroughly disappointing car wash.
The young men were just messing about, & not working hard at all.
Was getting fed up with waiting, then noticed that the boss wasn't there.
When eventually they finished the p/u, I said it was a horrible job, promised myself I would go elsewhere in future.
Looks like the business has failed, as it has been closed for 2 weeks.

I am looking for a place to do a ‘cut’ and wax as my white truck has some sort of very light tiny specks of what could be black overspray. It needs to be gone over with a machine and compound by someone that has a clue, preferably in a shop with tons of lights.
I’ll give Beyond a call, but they seem to be closed today. Edit: They are closed on Tuesdays. Quoted 1000 Bt. for a cut and wax, ‘wet look’.
Input appreciated.
Re: The bi-annual Udon Thani CAR WASH review
Confirmed that yesterday, thanks for the (old) tip! My truck required a soapy and hand job (with clay, then full buffing with compound and finally a coat of Meguiars wax. Looks like new again. 1100 Bt., but the white truck had a misting of black that was a real challenge. The Chevy body shop quoted 4000, with no wax.minimiglia wrote: ↑March 4, 2018, 3:25 pmBeyond is the best by a country mile. price and facilities are the best
The attached fancy cafe does excellent coffee and decent cakes. It’s just NE of Nong Prajak, 100m west of Tasa Rd., on the boulevard.

For those Eastenders who used PT Car Wash, they have relocated a tad further east on the Nong Sai road, on the north side.

Yes, how long was it? Might be the same distance you need to drive toward KK to find the car wash
