I would guess 99% of relationships begin with the male thinking with his little head, whether in Thailand or any where in the world.

I think the writer is not from Isaan or never have been to Isaan villages, where many under aged girls already have (unexpected)children. Also in UdonThani they estimate that 7000 students are, lets say, open minded. If that student becomes an accountant one can date a 'normal' girl, according to FarangUTH.

How about politely asking your new found Thai lady,if been married before,to see her wedding photos,to reassure yourself the brother, that is around a lot, is not the one placing a ring on her finger and if there are any kids,upsetting yourself why they have the same facial features as him =D>

Perhaps the writer was not referring to Thai women or students but LAO (conservative) woman or students in Laos.

Anyone notices the difference???

I did not know that. I think the nr or % of students who are modern and open minded on the 1st date is higher in udon than in vientianne. I did not want to say the words like in the posted pics...hehehe

From the quality of the ladies in the photograph, the correct interpretation would be that Thai students have it all over their Lao cousins in the manner of dress, taste, style et al.

I think LYM used his powers of mathematics George ,,,,,,,,, he counted the split arses in each pic ,, and did his calulations from that .. 2 ... 5 ... more than half .....

I presume the pass rate is higher ,,, with a higher hem line ie mini skirts mean ,, top of the class ,, a tub of lard in a tent will always cop out how ever brainy ........unless of course her dads a judge or gold shop owner ..

LYM . forgive me but your observations are a tadge off ........ the Tiger girl in LOUK NAM restarant is the best looking student i have ever clapped eyes on ,, 22 years old ,, never been raced or ralieghed ... and the reason i now drink copius amounts of Tiger in my free time ..

Brovo Khun Laan Yaa Moo. I refer to one of my previous posts that the writer think that thai women are consertative. He problably never listen to moram lukthung. Tiger girl from luknam is according to Jon a beauty and for me the married daughter of Luknahm is a beauty. The topic is about dating. I would date both but dating married girls is for me not 'tamada'.

One of the longest, maybe the longest, existing restaurants in udon with the same owner (35-40 years).
Late at night you see many thais there eating with their younger dates.
But acccording to op thai women are conservative.
