So a lot of rounding up to be conducted, with a free for all, on price increases, No Thai regulator would want to touch it.

If at the big shops or petrol stations just pay with an ATM card and no small change required with round up or round down.
Keep the small annoying small coins like my missus does for the cash payment at local markets etc type procurement.

The 25 and 50 satangs must be getting rare, in the last few weeks Old BiG C did not hand them out , wow a great saving a 220.50 B purchase turn out the be a 220 B purchase., a saving of 50 satangs.
