It's funny now, only because I no longer deal with CM Immigration. They even added a bonus round there; multiplying the fines of complainers.

Re: TM30 filing at Udon and Nongkhai?
I made a 90-days report recently and was asked why I had not made the TM30 when I arrived 3 months earlier. I replied that the time prior to this arrival I tried to forward a TM30 but was told that it was not neccesary since I had the same adress as before. This rather young immigration officer checked with some older superiors and then there was no more mention of the TM30.

I am on a retirement extension and will be headed back to Udon after a week's thrash in Pattaya and a trip to KL. I don't need to be starting any new immigration rituals based on what's in vogue in CM or Pattaya but I reckon there is an increasing, national pressure for old duffers to go see their local immigration officer more often, regardless of where they hang their hat.
