I'd guess he's on a bender in Pattaya rather than dead. I think he'll be around a while as he's a wily old fox. He'll probably still be the big boss in Moscow when OT hits 80.

OT'll be living his life to the max at 80 if I haven't gone to heaven beforehand. Anyway nowadays the 80 year olds are like 60 year olds enjoying the best things in life plus a little hanky panky and moderate drinking. Take trubrit for example (sorry TB couldn't resist that!).

I'm betting (can because I'm out of country) it's another case of Social Media hype (nonsense) along with the Kim Jong-un disappearance 4 months ago. Apparently that was a severe case of gout --- or was is it an overdose of toe jam mixed with cheese?

Sorry to disappoint you OT, my life is more hanky than panky these days, whilst I still enjoy a drink or two, that's as naughty as it get. Can't grumble though I've had more than my fair share of life's pleasures. :-"

I recall the late author Norman Mailer saying one of the few great pleasures in life when you're ancient is having a good dump!

I think one of our more elderly posters once shared with us that he enjoyed using the bum squirter so common in Thailand.

Vlad's not at that age yet so he must be up to some mischief. Perhaps he's planning another invasion.

Well, Vlad's back. Any kindly poster worrying about his well-being can now rest easy. He's not been done in like the Tsar. But what the hell was he doing?

Perhaps he was receiving medical treatment for some embarrassing old man's problem. The kind of problem our more elderly posters live with both manfully and stoically everyday without disappearing. Vlad might not be as tough as he likes to act.
