New Pattaya flights

Seems for those who cannot get up early we have new afternoon Air Asia flights from/to Pattaya from 23rd June – leave UTP at 14.40 and UTH at 16.20


I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

This is tremendous news. I head down to Pattaya every 2 or 3 months and fly AA via Utapao. The only issue is getting a taxi from Pattaya to Utapao at 5am. The new times are fantastic.

What do they charge nowadays, - taxi Utapao to Pattaya and vice-versa? When I did it many years ago, they were as high as Bangkok to Pattaya.

Mini-bus to central Patts to Utapao is 250THB. Taxi (using airport drivers) is 1,000THB...I use Meeow taxis, 700THB. Journey time Utapao-Patts is 45+min, dependent on time of day.
