Premier League 2017-18
Re: Premier League 2017-18
Well, that just about completes a week of utter misery for Nong Khais "Bitterest Blue."
Jose Mourinho talking afterwards.....
"Our challenge is to finish second but I want to congratulate City for the title - because they are going to win and deservedly. They gave no chance to the others because they had this season of not stopping winning."
I,too, would like to add my congratulations to City on winning the title, although with The Spuds away next week they might have to wait a little while longer.
They have been the outstanding team in the EPL this season,no question about that, but it will be interesting to see how they react against Liverpool in the 2nd leg of their Champions League tie now ?

Re: Premier League 2017-18
may be not, but Newcastle are still not safe, and they are only 3 pts behind the toffees with a game in hand and a far better goal difference
Only needs Newcastle to beat the gooners next week and Everton to not get anything at Swansea and the toon will be above them in the table AND with a game in hand
Re: Premier League 2017-18
But...........The Toon STILL Have to go Goodison......LOL !!stattointhailand wrote: ↑April 8, 2018, 10:51 ammay be not, but Newcastle are still not safe, and they are only 3 pts behind the toffees with a game in hand and a far better goal difference

No more so than you for the first 75 minutes of the Merseyside derby before Liverpool took James Milner off.....remember this was at home to a Liverpool side who rested 5 first team regulars !

That's a bit harsh zid ........ after all they did manage ONE shot on target and a whopping 38% possession at home to Liverpool reserves

Re: Premier League 2017-18
Alexander-Arnold,Robertson,Oxlade-Chamberlain,Firmino and Salah (rested/injured).
Not forgetting Can,Matip and Gomez out with long term injuries,as well,so no excuses for another shoddy Everton performance in which they only played half decent for the last 15 minutes.
Last night....
No chance of Chelsea making the Champions League next season now....10 points adrift.
Looking even more grim for Southampton. That fracas near the end was caused by that horrible little s h i t ,Wilshere, yet he only gets a yellow card whilst 2 others got sent off.

Re: Premier League 2017-18
I'm not necessarily saying the ref was wrong.Stephens had to go because he lashed out and Elneny was a victim of the handbags that followed (maybe to even things up) but it seems unfair that Wilshere who started it all by pulling Stephens shirt for quite a while, just gets a yellow plus he's a nauseating little t w a t,statto !mathusalah80 wrote: ↑April 9, 2018, 12:01 pmSo where is your usual expert opinion of the referee, Zid! :-" Oh! Please keep your comments brief!
No no I mean Wilshere not statto, readers !
It would have been justice if Wilshere would have seen red but not politically correct.

Hello Alan.....your post is unclear and, quite possibly, your mathematics too !
Heres the fees paid by Liverpool for the five replacements who came in against Everton.....
Clyne 12.5m
Klavan 4.2m
Wijnaldum 25m
Solanke 3m
Ings 8m (tribunal)
That only comes to 52.7m,which is nearly 200m short or are you getting confused with the 200m that Everton have shelled out for mostly mediocre players this season ?
