Cheltenham Town 2 Maidstone United 4
Forest Green Rovers 1 Macclesfield Town 0
Northampton Town 0 Scunthorpe United 0
I can understand that Town & the Silkmen both need to concentrate on their league form but still... :D

Town were 3 down after a first half that they never turned up for but did a little better in a second half that swiftly developed into a 10 a side game!!
The Silkmen obviously didn't enjoy the trip down to Gloucestershire & Forest had rather an easier game than the scoreline might suggest..
The Iron have to do it all again as no one could find the net!! :D

Thanks for the heads up on the live showing of the BIG? N.E. Derby Bob. Just may have to keep 1/2 a lens on what's happening at Goodison for my Ticker's sake!

That's Maccs third defeat in a row :( are they in danger of doing a Leeds who lost 3-1 at Brentford yesterday.I think that's 7 defeats out of 8 for them now ? :-k

Imminent SOS for Big Sam?

On the positive side for Leeds fans, they could lose every match from now to the end of the season and still not finish bottom ............ BLUNDERLAND are in the same league (for now :-$ )

Newport County 1 Port Vale 1
Another good result away at high flying Newport sees Vale up to 20th. Chesterfield are starting to be cast adrift at the bottom but then there is only 3 points separating the sides up to Crewe in 18th. spot.
Scunthorpe United 15:00 Bristol Rovers
Cheltenham Town 15:00 Luton Town
Crawley Town 15:00 Forest Green Rovers
Barrow 15:00 Macclesfield Town

Scunthorpe United 1 0 Bristol Rovers
Cheltenham Town 2 2 Luton Town
Crawley Town 1 1 Forest Green Rovers
Barrow 0 2 Macclesfield Town
The Iron on a good run & back up to 5th.
Vale back down to just outside the zone as Rovers match their result..
The top 7 all win in the National League so the Silkmen remain second..

Main fixture highlighted in red .. as ever

So after just kicking the Cobblers out the FA cup we gotta go there again in the league .. which is IMO way more important ... good luck to all our much loved teams EVEN LEEDS .

Have a nice time Bob ... great spot for a honeymoon  ????

Bit of a surprise this one.....he probably thought he had taken Wales as far as he could.....but Sunderland ?? Coleman hasn't been a great club manager either !

Chris Coleman leaves Wales role for Sunderland job

Chris Coleman has left his job as Wales manager to take over at Championship club Sunderland.
Coleman will succeed Simon Grayson, who was sacked after 18 games in charge.
The Football Association of Wales (FAW) confirmed: "Regretfully, Chris Coleman has resigned from his position with immediate effect."
Ex-defender Coleman, 47, succeeded the late Gary Speed in 2012 and guided them to an historic appearance at Euro 2016, where they reached the semi-finals.
Disappointment followed as Wales failed to reach the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
Coleman's assistant Kit Symons has also left his role of Wales coach.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
