There is leadership and there is bullying. Wonder which Trump would count as?

Though the USA (not America, actually 2 continents, not countries) is the most powerful country, leadership is another thing. And i think most of Asia (where most people live) looks more towards China these days, although not always from choice.

I don't think Trump wants to lead. He doesn't act like he does.

China is the go to country on trade. It's leading there. On climate change, it now seems to be a joint European / Chinese lead. In the Middle East, it seems the Russians and Iran have gained considerable ground.

Even with North Korea, it seems the US was led to the party by the North Koreans. Hopefully that will be a good thing but I fear Trump is being played.

If was wanting counsel on dealing with the bad boy administration in Washington or international issues, Merkel and Macron seem the go to folks. They seem a cut above May who is more focused on domestic issues.

The US has taken quite a fall but some of that is cyclic. The rise of China isn't. If I was an American taxpayer, I might think some of this was good news.

I have to agree with Joudon, Merkel is VERY focused on domestic issues at the moment, Macron's popularity is the lowest it's ever been and Theresa May is a complete moron, personally I'd be inclined to let Nigel Farage, Aaron Banks and Raheem Kassam deal with Donald Trump, they're already great friends but that's another story.

They had to cancel Geography in American schools when the History & Culture teachers complained

Geography teachers got years of work but History & Culture teachers ran out of things to teach after the first term

Only if they know where the rest of the world (or even the USA) is. Fortunately most of these interviewees stay in the USA most of their lives. I do know many nice. intelligent Yanks but they are the ones who travel.

Greed could be one , how about denying climate change ? Spying on other countries ? Calling for regime change in other countries ? Supporting coups in other countries ? Arming rebel factions in other countries? supporting dictators in other countries ? Invading other countries ? Vetoing resolutions in the UN security council ? imprisoning its own citizens ? Police shootings of ethnic minorities ? Children being killed in their schools,? obesity ? Teaching creationism in schools ? TV evangelists
I am sure they must be leading the world in one or two of those things, but maybe im wrong
