Ricks, Not yet as I am back in the states untill October 2012.

There is a second hand red/silver CBR250ABS on craigslist for 105,000 B with extras. If I was in Thailand today I would go have a look. The bike is in Roiet.

Is it possible to get the bike sent up via the post office and arrange the transfer papers by remote ?
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

I have mailed a bike to Bangkok from Udon, Pretty simple really. Ro io Et to Udon. Don't know. When the bike arrived in Bangkok, the Post Office left a note on his door to come get it. We did have to empty all the fuel. Inexpensive adn unlike the train no one has to travel with it.

Ask the main Branch Post office here about a mail from Rio Et to here.

I see bikes being "mailed" from Ban Dung to all over the place in Thailand, so Roi-et shouldn't be a problem.

Out of curiosity the other day, I asked one of the PO staff how much it cost. This was a scooter going from BD to Bangkok, and the cost was ฿1470.

Good to know, I just arrived in Roiet for Loy Kratong. Where in Maha S are the meeting points?
Love my new CBR250R and new REAL brand flip-up full face helmet.

Putting this out here to see if anybody would like to start a Honda CBR 150/250 club in Udon. Open to any ideas for these amazing sport bikes. I have owned 3 - 150's since 2003 and have clocked about 117,000 KMs sport touring in Thailand .
Hi jimbeam,
I've just bought CBR 150 for travelling. But I wonder how to fix my baggage on sportbike.
How did you do that? By normal ropes?

I used a set of soft saddle bags, a tail bag and a tank bag. Might have a photo around showing that. Let me look later.
Use good bungies to hold everything in place.
One can improvise on this as well.

Thank you, Jim.
So, you have used soft saddle bags for motorcycle. Did you buy it in Udon?

I bought the set in the USA and brought them with me. I have seen similar bags in Thailand but limited selection here.

I have never seen bags like yours, but only hard plastic boxes and leather bags for choppers. So I will try to do something selfmade using 2 sport bags.
Thanks, Jim.

Why ruin the ride? I keep my phone in the tank bag and check it when I stop for coffee.
