Re: Udon Police trying to ID expat found dead off of Phosi Road
Some find Thais posting these graphic images offensive, I have even heard uncivilized. While it is something I do not like to see, maybe if the graphic pictures of the Sandy Hook shooting were available, people might wake up. I find in the West things are sanitized (gun violence especially ), and therefore we become immune and accepting. That also could be touted as Uncivilized.

I dont think the fact that the images are so graphic is the problem newtovillagelife, it is the fact that they are available on sites Udonmap/facebook etc and are in no way censored. My first thought when I looked was that if that was me lying there, my 9 year old daughter could easily see them, and with this guy being "about 40 - 50" he too could have a wife and young family. What sort of effect would that have on a childs life to see his her father in that state? If it were fiction it would be given a certificate that stopped young children getting to see it, and there is a reason for that censorship.

Supposedly, local police have found a video source that shows the deceased at a shop, near the location where he was found, purchasing some items that were found at the scene. I don't know if there is a date/time stamp on the video or not, but I would assume so if the video is still retrievable.
