Just bumping the thread and a reminder for the next meeting this Sunday the 14th.

Australia Day is approaching quickly, Friday 26 January. A BBQ of sausages, onions, pork steaks, chicken, home made sausage rolls, mashed potato and bread rolls will be available from 12MD at the bar at 100B per head, young-uns under 12 free, all you can eat and available all afternoon. The Ozzie flag will be flying high on the day. All are welcome, mates, wifes, GFs, children and youngsters. There is plenty of parking for cars, bikes and tame elephants next to the bar.

Back to the Hash House Harriers meeting of the 14 January. Those attended:-

Richard UK-Stumbles.

Alan Oz-Huallen.
Barra Fish Oz.

It was decided at the meeting after the 1st ODI cricket game between OZ-Poms, and the Poms won, good luck to them, that the next meeting on the 28 January should be canned and brought forward to Friday 26 January-Oz day. There will be a HHH meeting about 2pm and if anyone wants to go for a run, walk or jog they can do so, a small course will be set out. It will be called the 'Australia Day run'.

Thai, ladies and children are always welcome and can participate if they wish.

Just bumping up the topic.

In town for the week so I'll be there, for Oz day, will they be the same home made sausage rolls that were served at the ANZAC day bash last year, Yum

The rolls from ANZAC Day were a couple of packets from Oz carried by an AFL die hard tragic. I have been making my own sausage rolls and they are hitting the spot and these will be available on Friday. And in the not too distant future, I will be making Aussie meat pies.

Rob do you know if I need to do a visa extension, runs out on the 26th, do I need to go to NK for 1 month extension, or can the local Imm office do it, thanks , see you tomorrow

Bugger all was accomplished at the HHH meeting on Friday that coincided with Australia Day. The HHH members did what they normally do when their is no run, drank heaps of beer and food.

Hey, this is Bootlegger. Part of the founding committee for the USHHH. Great to see you guys are thinking of rekindling the hash. I might even have some of the old hash records from that time. I certainly have some old t-shirts stashed away for safe keeping. It's been a while, but I tend to hoard things.

Anyway, I would love to hear how you guys are doing and perhaps stop by my net time through Thailand. Shame I did not see this sooner, as we just went through Laos for the Mekhong Indochina 2017. Great fun!

Hello Bootlegger. The current Hash House is a bit slow but we are getting there. I am in Australia till the end of March for a holiday and my lady is having a holiday in her village and she will re-open the bar around March 15. If you have any of the old records or T shirts they will be greatly appreciated by the members.
