Along the same lines of 'watching what you eat' (my post yesterday)........today, while slurping my bowl of noodles and catching up on some reading (a bottle of fish sauce), I noticed this:

ไม่ใส่วัตถุกันเสีย

You'll see the วัตถุ on a variety of vehicles, especially those carrying flammable items. And the กัน in กันเสีย is useful to know in words like เสื้อกันฝน and แว่นตากันแดด

A little Thai goes a long way!

Many Thai food labels have the same adverts that Western labels have.......low-fat, no fat, no sugar, no msg, no preservatives, vegetarian, etc. Some like my Kellogg's have the important label in English......but most don't.
I wouldn't buy Kellogg's if they weren't 'Made with Real Corn'. But if you want to know how much sugar your corn flakes contain, you'll have to read the Thai label.

I always look for the amount of sugar , I just wish the writing wasn't so small as I usually forget my reading glasses when shopping
