Does anybody know where I can buy cornicing - the moulding that goes between the ceiling and the wall?
Thanks in anticipation of a reply or two.

I've seen it at Global House and the new place may carry it as well: Thai Watsadu.

Thanks papguido but I've been to both places and they don't have it. Maybe Global had it but no longer stock it.

What I saw were made of unfinished wood, haven't come across anything like in the above link (plaster). Could very well be out of stock. Last time I saw it was in the aisles near the plywood (section of aisles between plywood & doors).

Does your brain in cutting the angles. OT tried it and wasted more than 200% of the material needed.
A coffered ceiling without a cornice looks better in OTs much sought after opinion.

Some stores that carry wood molding in Udon have it. I think you can find it in 4" or 5" sizes with. You could try the wood store opposite the Old Nissan store on Prajack, or, the store that carries specialty hardware for cabinets up towards the town square on the same road near the Buddhist candle shops.

Here I thought you were talking about corn nuts or some Brit version of cornish hen......but alas......if you're looking for cornice, you can buy it at the hardware store, kilo 24, as you're heading SW on the Nongbualamphu-Udon Hwy. If it's available there, I'm sure you can buy it in town as well.

to cut the angles. make a jig for the cornice ti sit in as mitre blocks are generally to small. it nay take awhile to make one but it will save wasting alot of wood!! parrot i dont mean an irish jig which is some kind of dance?!

I was back at the shop today.....building a bungalow in our backyard.......asked the owner of the shop about the cornice. He has a wide selection to choose from (although I believe he orders it from a supplier).
