Yeah I went to Reuter’s and used their search option silly me, but still nothing on the Thai news websites. Odd.

No real hardship for most people with those hours. Same as when the Armed Forces saved the Country 6 years ago. With no bars or eating establishments open who is really out and about during that period anyway.

Disagree Jon, if it’s true that we haven’t had a new case in 7 days, it would seem a bit of overkill to me.
If its nationwide then its nationwide no exceptions .. and KK with 12 cases is only an hour away. cant see 10pm to 5 am effecting too many people but twill the night owls at home.

No you’re right there, it won’t affect many and it might keep my horrid nephews off the street, looks like it’s a Reuter’s scoop obtained during a phone call, that’d be why none of the Thai newscasters have it yet.

I reckon it not being announced locally is to stop knee-jerk reactions by the locals. The State of Emergency was 'leaked' on Tuesday with the local press saying details would be released on Thursday. Roll around Thursday and the details were included in the statement that the State of Emergency was already in effect.

A whole lot of locals (and some foreigner) are going to get a shock 6 p.m. when they have a little over 24 hours to get their ---- together.

IF it happens I’m wondering if the village mom and pop shop will keep serving the little crew they have sitting outside each evening, my guess is yes but we will see, no social distancing, girl just back from BKK... All the right ingredients

The after-hours drinking parties. The back garden games of cards. Vince's nephews. My bro-in-law's fighting chook school. Plenty of night owls are about to get their wings clipped IMHO.

Let’s not be silly, I haven’t accused anyone of lying, I still think it would be headline news and there was actually a bust of a party elsewhere that involved drugs, booze and loud music and I think it’s part of the rumour mill. Tam, I always call a spade a spade, if I think someone is lying I’ll say it outright, I’m not one to beat around the bush, let’s be adults here and stop talking about fannies and lying like little school girls eh!
