THE CHRISTMAS ALPHABET

Post by bignote1 » December 23, 2014, 9:27 pm

At this time of year I think it would be appropriate to do the Christmas Alphabet.
You can make it spiritual, funny, child like, even political (khun xyu kab khun) but please lets not be insulting to anyone's religion or beliefs.
I will kick off. Please keep it sequential.

A is for "Away in a Manger" sung by Primary School children...Innocence and belief to be prized.

B is for the "Baby Jesus". During last years Nativity he was nicked from his crib outside Canterbury Cathedral. This year to protect him, they have wired him in.

Your turn C & D please

I've Heard of coal and whisky taken to a neighbour for "first footing" on new years day, but never puting it in a stocking :?
Is it supposed to bring you warmth or luck as it does for new year?

Not sure! Maybe it's what people who can't afford an orange give.
