the wife pops over every couple of weeks on her Thai ID card... Slots, roulette and card tables for the higher rollers. A driver that provides supplies to the casino ferries here over and back and has her paperwork all done for immigration... The Dan Savanh Casino is located on a lake about 75km north of Vientiane and has a 2 star hotel/resort as part of the complex.. There are several Lot Doo operators in Udon who take Thai folks up for the day and back. Its a door-to-door service they'll pick up punters at their houses and don't charge for the ride since evidently they get some type of remittance from the casino for bringing in gamblers. Its easy for them to process the paperwork to go over and back just on their Thai ID Cards.... I've never heard of them taking a Farang up who'd require a visa at the bridge but I imagine they might.
