The owner's name is Fon......she speaks excellent English and has assisted spouses and girlfriends from Australia and a few European countries in the visa process. She is a certified translator.
Her facebook page is at

Her shop is directly across from TJs Restaurant, just off the ringroad at Nongsamrong.

I did it myself about four years ago for my then Thai girlfriend a bit of paper work but fairly easy to get through because it has to go to the Australian Embassy in Bkk to be approved where the staff there who handle it speak both English and Thai I had no problems why waste your money on an agent?

I believe that they may check some of the answers but not 100% sure I filled it out myself in English for her there is a question towards the end asking did she have help filling out the application I did the lot which would easily been seen by the hand writing.

Give it a go yourself any questions you can PM me.

Dead right, Macca. Its a straightforward process. I've done it, doesn't take long at all. There were no follow up questions for me or my gf at the time, but I know some have been. Its just a matter of ticking all the right boxes.

Cam PM me, too, if you want a hand.

Cheers

OK Cool, Thanks Macca. Did it take long to get? I am hoping to be over there with her when she applies, but I have been trying to get a disability pension for a year now. Without this I cant afford to come over and have to wait another year for age pension.

It can take up to six weeks I did everything from Aus. I did state that I could financially support her while she was in Aus. and that I could pay any medical that may arise no proof was asked about financial ability on my behalf.

At the time she was forty four years of age so there was no question about anything immoral or unjust.

Dont forget to add the visit to the Visa Application outsourced Company in BKK that now accept the applications AND where all new applicants need to present in person for the digital Bio Metrics .

If your not in the door grabbing a number for the queue by 0900 , its a very long day Ive heard

No visit to BKK when my ex applied. No phone call from the embassy to her or me, either. Took about a fortnight to be approved. I'd filled in Govt forms for 34 years, so it was a piece of cake.

Things may have changed in the last 18 months, but that's how it was.

You lodge the application at Udon post office, you don't have to go to the embassy. I filled out the forms for the wife, we both lodged the forms together, the post master asked the wife a few questions, no more than ten days later we had the visa.

I had lunch with an Austtalian citizen and his new wife yesterday in bkk. Engaged for 5 years.

He confirmed in detail to me the NEW visa application process and how his wife must present for the new digital bio metric scanning for her first visa application.

As has been the case for a number of years now and easy if the applicant has traveled to Australia in the past. 2 to 4 days to have an electronic visa attached to the passport.

In saying that and as has been pointed out earlier, in this thread, visa applicants who have not registered their Bio Metrics will have to do so in either Bangkok or Chang Mai.
