Professor Withaya is the man behind the KK Trauma Centre and is a WHO expert in prehospital care in 3rd world and developing countries, ( including Thailand )
Lectured for him for years and every Sonkran we just bashed our heads against the wall as another brain dead patient was transferred from the rural areas to die in KK Trauma Centre.
We even tried to introduce a triage system in the rural hospitals to stop transfers, CPR of Trauma patients with no chance of survival at all etc, but the saving face issue in local hospitals won over.
