Insensitivity of American Film Producer.

Post by Vlad123456 » July 10, 2018, 5:47 pm

Sky news has just reported an American publicist and crew from an American film producer have been sniffing around around the surrounding area on making a major movie about the cave rescue. One sky reporter has stated Mr Lucas which is i presume George lucas wanting to make a movie with top A list actors as he said it will make a great movie. Christ there not even out yet and Hollywood is sniffing. Another film with the full A list depicting yanks saving all the boys and making it out as they planned it all.

Is Newsweek.com a reliable source? Can’t find anything about this in the UK press yet, including Sky
U.S. EDITION Tue, Jul 10, 2018

WORLD THAILAND CAVE RESCUE HOLLYWOOD
As a youth soccer team is gradually evacuated from a flooded cave complex in northern Thailand, Hollywood producers are already eyeing a new box office smash.
Though four boys and their coach are still to be saved, American film crews have reportedly traveled to the rescue site in Chiang Rai to begin work on a movie telling the tale of the Wild Boars team, Australian website news.com.au reported.
The 12 boys, aged from 11 to 16, went missing along with their adult coach on June 23. The world feared the worst as the search operation stretched over nine days, before the missing team was finally discovered stranded in a flooded cave some 2.5 miles from the complex’s entrance.

A huge rescue operation is now entering its third day. Eight of the boys—all of whom are in good health—have been rescued so far. Four more, plus the coach, are set to be brought out Tuesday. Those evacuated so far have been taken to hospital in Chiang Rai for treatment and observation.
But while divers risk their lives to get the team out, two Hollywood producers are beginning a project telling the boys’s story. The managing partner of the Pure Flix film company, Michael Scott, told the AAP news agency that he sees the flooded cave saga “as a major Hollywood film with A-list stars.”
Scott and co-producer Adam Smith have reportedly been conducting interviews around the rescue site, where more than 1,000 Thai personnel have been joined by dozens of international specialists for the operation. They hope to interview the Thai Navy Seal divers and their foreign counterparts, as well as the rescued team members and their families. Once exclusive rights to the story are secured, the company hopes to work with a screenwriter to bring the tale to life.
Keep Up With This Story And More By Subscribing Now PureFlix are a Christian film studio, whose most notable work to date is the 2014
film God's Not Dead, starring Dean Cain and Hercules actor Kevin Sorbo.
Though some may consider their actions insensitive or even exploitative, Smith told
AAP: “There’s going to be other production companies coming in so we have to act pretty quickly.”
The rescue has captured the world’s attention, and observers everywhere are awaiting the rescue of the final boys. Their route out is treacherous, forcing the boys to navigate narrow and twisting flooded tunnels with extremely limited visibility. Such a journey is a challenge even for trained professionals, let alone young boys taught to dive just days ago. Indeed, a former Thai Navy Seal diver—Saman Kunan—died in the tunnels last week when he ran out of oxygen.
Other than that tragedy, the rescues have gone off without a hitch. Within the next 24 hours, all remaining members of the trapped team could be free, their 17-day ordeal behind them.

Although I do understand your position. this is just not unusual. Remember the video of the people that crashed in the Andes and were forced to eat others

The news has done all the advertising at this time. Sadly people pay to watch this sort of thing and a long as they do this will continue.

Clever, enterprising yanks always on the cutting edge, always there to seize an opportunity, always ready to jump at a chance.

Dour, glum Brits, always there to pi$$ and moan at the slightest perceived insult, always negative and fatalistic, forever despondent.

So its ok to call me a troll and a yank basher colt 1911 and jimjay well I did inform you there were american movie producers Sniffing about the Area before the rescue was even accomplished ok I can hold my hands up and say I got the name wrong and it was not Lucas but the rest I was correct on so you can stop your " Calling me out " colt. Its not yank hating but facts if the movie does come out what will it be factual or American heroism. Im thinking of U57 when the brits were the first to locate the Enigma machine from U57 yet Hollywood portrayed you as the saviors when you had nothing to do with getting hold of it. So my 2 yank members who troll me is this fact or factual or did I make it up as you keep reminding members.

I recall the movie about the Oakland Hills fire in 1991. The Fire Captain that declared the fire out the day before it caused a billion in damages was black, and they made him asian in the movie. Raised a few eyebrows.

I underestimated the levels of support for Hollywood liberals trying to make a quick buck.
