Havent tasted a half decent DOUGHNUT[/b for about 40 odd years. Melt in the mouth dough covered with a thin layer of darker sweeter dough and granulated sugar (not bloody powder on a flour paste that is sold in Thailand) They were also about 4 times the size and had so much jam that you could ruin a shirt and trousers with one wrongly placed bite

There was a chap selling small plain ring donuts coated in granulated sugar at the Nong Samrong crossroads this morning. Bloody luvverly they were. Warm as well so he must be close by cooking up a batch for the lights to go red
May the bridges I burn light the path in front of me

Might be the same guy/guys who worked the Tesco lights in the evenings pre roadworks. Wouldnt say "bloody luvverly" but certainly miles better than the usual rubbish on sale in Udon.

I don't like the doughnuts covered in sugar. Chocolate covered doughnuts are the ones for me.

No way can I fit a donut in my toaster. It was designed for slices of bread, however, the cheap small electric ovens work perfectly for freshening up donuts and many other baked goods. My small cheap oven has a heating element on the top and bottom. Using just the top element works best for me.
