COKE...Original taste...Does it taste diff...

I buy orig coke..Lately, It is too sweet for my taste...Has anyone else noticed any diff..?
I bought Pepsi to try again as it is not too sweet....n i prefer it to coke now....
What r your thoughts on the subject?..

I like Coke and haven't tasted any major difference. But the missus wont buy it now for the house. So only when out now but add Jack Daniels.

Plenty of sugar already, if it is now sweeter then that's a dangerous level of sugar.

There's HOW much sugar in my drink?!

375ml can of Cola 10 teaspoons of sugar
One scoop of regular ice cream 3 teaspoons of sugar
500ml bottle of energy drink 13 teaspoons of sugar
600ml bottle of sports drink 9 teaspoons of sugar
Two small lollies 1 teaspoon of sugar

Probably inadvertently answered mudguards question ........ If the Thais had the lowest levels in coke when the tests were done, I bet they have now upped the content to the same as others

No wonder so few Americans seem to drink G & T's with ice 'n a slice It must taste horrible with so much sugar :-&

I wonder how many spoonfuls they manage to squeeze into a little bottle of M150

In Buriram for lunch other day n a place gave me an EST (coke lookalike) instead of the Pepsi i asked for ... blooming disgusting stuff i nearly gipped over my cod n chips ... chucked it away n had water.

When not consuming beer i usually go for soda water and ice with a meal nowadays.

I don't know if it has changed lately but it has always been too sweet for my taste. When mixing it with alcohol, I use about a third soda and two thirds Coke.

****** piss takingly bad that EST stuff is. **** name also. The guy who formed the company was an ex Pepsi exec/licensee (something like that) who broke away to form his own coke like drink. The bloke must be off his head - he made the most putrid coke you can think of and drummed up the shittest name. The Thais cant even pronounce it right they call it 'ethed'.

i drink always coke zero , now in makro it has changed to no sugar ....original coke is always sweet to me
pepsi taste like cough medicine , and est is no where near what coke is ,some over sweet derivative from pepsi ?....
according to my taste again anyway....

Most of the time here, by the time you get 90% crushed ice in the glass, you cant even tell if the other 10% is Coke/Pepsi or EST

Cane sugar mate. Built a Coca Cola bottling plant just outside Vientiane about 4 years ago. The franchisee also operates the Thai plants. All cane sugar (lots of it) used as readily available in SEA.
