Went to NK Imm Office for 90 day report and Retirement Visa extension yesterday, In and out in 40 minutes as I had a genuine 800,000 deposit in Bkk Bank. However was told that next time they want TWO each of Lounge, Bedroom and External house photos. The usual passport size photo is to be increased to 2 inches and they want TWO of these for easier indentification ! Also there were 2 NO TIPS PLEASE signs stood on the desks.....things are tightening up !

God they do love making things up don't they?

What value are pictures of the lounge and bedroom? See if you're a traditional teak furniture kinda guy or an Index Mall shopper? Admittedly, the outside picture may help them find the house quicker if they actually made a house call.

I had my Retirement Visa extension done in Udon Thani yesterday, 25 minutes total incl. a Exit/reentry permit. No photos of house is asked for. And if you should forget to bring a passport picture they just use the cameras they have standing on the counter (I belive they charge an extra 100 baht for that service). I think that the service given at Udon Thani Immigration is outstanding.

I think that the extra 100 is for a picture with their desk camera. I was there one week ago with a good picture to my application and I paid only 1.900.
