Re: Car upholstery repairs
About 4 years ago i had a leather seat repaired, and the rest re treated and polished at the shop at the old global lights.
Guy looked like one of carabous deciples , but did a fantastic job .
A few years before that he fitted a couple of bucket seats i bought there , to my vintage Nissan Patrol and they are still doing fine , a bit faded over the years put still fully functional.
Shop right at the lights , left hand side , going from old tesco to global.

Re: Car upholstery repairs
Went to that shop this morning and business closed and shop up for sale. Found one shop 2 doors up from AEK who repair car upholstery but only vinyl seats and trims. Next shop I tried was continuing past AEK turning left at the 2nd traffic lights heading towards the statue roundabout about 60% of the way down the road on the left hand side is a leather upholstery repairer. Seemed reasonable with price back seat trim 500 baht and drovers armrest come storage box is 400 baht. He will advice tomorrow price for headrest and have to leave car about 3 hours. Once repaired will again update what I think of repair from an expat view point as we don't accept shoddy workmanship like many locals would. There could of course be others out there but stopped looking as price was right

Sorry about that . Like i said its been a while . Shame cuz the guy was a master , and theyve been there years .
You seen to have found another gem , so hopefully he also does a good job , as his price seems fair . Please keep us posted.

Re: Car upholstery repairs
Update, maybe it will help someone:
The upholstery shop at the Global House intersection still exists! The shop has downsized but does the same work. I had the front seats reupholstered in vinyl leather on my Toyota Corolla and am very happy for only 5,000 baht. You can also have the full car converted from fabric to vinyl leather, for example, it costs 8,000 baht for a Vios.
