No kidding. I measured 9 cm in the bucket I put out in the driveway about 5 mintues into the storm, here in First Home (that's 9 cm in about 1.2 hours). The water was was well up the driveway before the rain stopped. Gave me a reason to pause for a moment and think about how bad it could get.

Given that the drains around here are all filled up with dirt and sand, it would take less than 2.5 hours of rain at that rate to flood my living room (I measured the height above the street). A lot less than that to swamp my water tank. :(

Yep a accurate picture of how things go, I really wonder if we can can get any reponse to cleaning those drains now and you still have new construction going on in your area. Which means more sand and debri to go in your part of the system.
