You do not get a 1 year visa in Thailand.

To issue an extension of stay Udon immigration will require a completed TM30 that by the rules must be submitted within 24 hours of arrival, a fine for not completing it on time is listed in the police order. For the TM30 you need proof of address. Often this is the rental agreement, a copy of the owner's blue book and ID card signed by the owner.

At the moment there have been no reports of Udon applying the fine. Other immigration offices do fine, often the rate is 2,000 Baht.

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

Yes, you require a photo copy of the tabian ban (house registration book) showing the owner of the house and a photocopy of the owners ID card with their signature on the photo copied page
