Kyrgios wont apologize
Kyrgios wont apologize
Nick Kyrgios tried to hit Rafael Nadal in the chest with a tennis ball during their second-round match-up at Wimbledon on Thursday, and he is refusing to apologize for it.
"Why would I apologize? I mean, the dude has got how many Slams, how much money in the bank account?" Kyrgios said after the match, via ESPN. "I think he can take a ball to the chest, bro. I'm not going to apologize to him at all."
He needs to be sent to his room without Tea. His upbringing doesn't indicate manners were part of it
The original posting mentioned his Nationality I have omitted it as I believe has nothing to do with this issue
Hopefully the Tennis association will remove him from play

Re: Kyrgios wont apologize
A tennis player with personality, who says what he thinks, doesn't care what people think AND gets out on the slops the night before a big game. Can't have that! Will give the bat ---- boring game a bad name.

What do you expect from a Wannabe (ranked 43 in the world), who was born in Canberra.
He will never get into the top 10

Aussies always have a problem with the world's superstars. Take a look around the forum.

Re: Kyrgios wont apologize
Kyrgios comes across as exactly what he is . A spoilt bratt . He disrespects the sport that has given him a good living over the years . He disrespects his opponents . He disrespects the officials , and wishes his talent was as great as his ego .
What he is , is a mediocre tennis player . What he is not , is a sportsman , never was , and never will be .

Re: Kyrgios wont apologize
Now here's another interesting tennis player who doesn't appear to have had the obligatory personality bypass. So there are at least two of them: During defeat, Fabio Fognini says Wimbledon should be bombed. https://www.smh.com.au/sport/tennis/dur ... 1562471584

The claim of ''racist'' is probably the most overused claim reported in the media these days. Losing at sport, failed promotion at work, failure to be employed, its getting boring and what is painfully evident is that only non whites can claim racism.

It's going to be interesting to see how these morons are sanctioned.

I must be in that empty head of yours LS.
Re: Kyrgios wont apologize
Not sure what Canberra has to do with the fact that he is a jerk.
McEnroe was born in Weisbaden, Gemany. possibly the most famous tennis jerk in living memory
Tomic was born in Stuttgart, Germany, just as big a jerk
Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan makes them both seem like angels
but hell there have been a heap of tennis brats in recent years
A brat, is a brat is a brat, regardless of their birthplace. As for the national attitude, these clowns are as despised in Australia as much as elsewhere, they are an embarrassment to a country that takes sport as a matter of national pride.

Not at all.
Reading your post and recognizing your hypocrisy in your phony outrage about racism made me laugh. All the times you accuse others of racism when it's not there and stirring something up. And you have the nerve to accuse someone else of what YOU DO.
Anyone can read your post history and see it.

Whether it is being a Brat or just a poor Sports person, when he comes off second or loses.
I saw similar unprofessional behavior in the recent IPL Cricket series several month’s back
Some sports tolerate it and others don’t
