I think the dark red curfew starts at 9pm so they may have to stop a bit earlier & give them a chance to finish up & get home.

Last nights storm left the roadies with a cleaning up job this morning ... and jack hammer guy is not gonna be pleased as SOMEONE has slashed the tyres on his makro hammer ... OH DEAR , HOW SAD ..THATS A SHAME... (dont fook with noodle shop Yai) ..
Lots of bodies on site ..and we were informed our car park is no access/exit again over the weekend as they are working on the inner frontage /slip road.
Still zero lighting , this combined with last nights storm led to a couple of prangs and a truck in the dyke outside Nong Hin school being removed now.

Caution required when transiting this area.

Elsewhere ..its still dark over on the East side as the sun only shines on the righteous as my old gran used to say.

Good dogleg update for those interested, thanks.

BTW the sun is simply blazing away down here and it's still only 3 a.m. !

It may have been on this forum or maybe another that someone was lambasting the authorities in some areas for allowing certain businesses to have trading hours that ran later than the new night time curfew. Based on last years curfew experience, employers and staff adjust their business closing hours to match the curfew. For example, Mrs tam's oldest niece worked at a Mini Big C and the manager and staff had worked out for themselves that shuttering 30 minutes earlier allowed the staff to get home well before the curfew dodger snipers took up position.

And the Lord said ...LET THERE BE LIGHT !!!!!!...praise the Lord for he giveth .......and can taketh away..

Last night the new high road poles were illuminated at Udons premier intersection .. alas one is like the leaning tower of Pizza and more bent than a man wearing a dress  .. surely will need rezerection so could be lights out again ..

As for completion of this mega project within this months schedule .. tizz now out of the question .. as is August IMO.

Still lots of bodies on site , slow progress but the sun is shining , nice breeze and the shared iced water bucket has just been refilled ..ANYONE FOR COVID ??

Yeah i know its Pisa .. but writing Pizza just seemed more fun and for a split second made me smile. :?

Just had it confirmed by big boss .. weather delays and extra work on the inner frontage/slip road have meant the completion date is now extended 1 month .. WALOB a handful of heavy showers havent made that much difference.. im smelling a rat

Big accident just off the ring road slip road onto HWY2 Khon Kaen direction just before the big Ban Chiang pot
One of those flat bed truck & trailer combos has flipped on its side spilling its load all over the slip road & 2 lanes. They've bollard off another lane & have got just about every service imaginable there with flashing blue & red lights. They've even commandeered a fork lift which is trying to pick stuff up.
Doesn't look like anyone hurt which is good.

I really can't work out how the truck has tipped as its lying on the passenger side but he must have been branching left which would mean rolling over onto the drivers side. Maybe he was attempting a u turn at the lights?

^ I could see all the wheels & none were turning so it’s safe to assume some sort of braking was in play.

Also, let’s not forget the more skilful drivers are taught to drive without using brakes, so I’ve been told as nauseam. Think the glass of water on the dashboard might have spilt over though when it tipped on its side.

^ Maybe there was someone parked or otherwise blocking the short, left-hand feeder that he hadn't allowed for. So he whipped his wheels to the right and then fell over on his passenger side?

Where are the real UMCSI is what I want to know. Not witnessing, seeing or knowing anything about the circumstances doesn’t usually stop ‘em.
They’re certainly conspicuous by their absence, perhaps some top secret mission is afoot us mere mortals wouldn’t understand

Ah a cry for information from a person who professes to know everything. Not visiting the scene, seeing the situation, they probably are unable to comment. You saw it Niggly what do you think. That is an oxymoron at best. .....lol

Anyone ever heard of one taking a bike out when they’re passing?

We can live in hope, no?

Most instances in LOS appear to be whole wheels detaching at speed and taking out minivans, noodle shops and yai on her way back from the market on her saleng.

Nope not admitting anything , unlike you I never lie and offer only opinions, others like you make up your own stories to fit the scenario . Enjoy your trolling and by the way , just an opinion, anyone ever thought that just maybe the truck and trailer were loaded , the load could have shifted at just the wrong time, I have and guess what the lorry tips over .
