Where can I buy a decent motorcycle helmet

Any idea of brands , I would like something more substantial than the normal give away Thai ( maybe Chinese ) helmets .

Multiply,bike clothing and hemets HJC Bilmola Arai etc.They speak english and you can get coffee there as well.

Tic Toc has you in a good shop.
For a comparison before you buy also check the Honda big bike shop on the ring road.
Both have good standard helmets and protective jackets etc.
better than standard plastic type helmets are from 2000 bht up to whatever you want to spend.

when you are at a shop try to check out the REAL brand , they supposedly are DOT tested ...(and made in thailand ,so no excise tax),compare them with the cheaper index ones and you will notice differences ...as info

I recommend a Nolan Air. Expensive Italian helmet, but has great air flow and a detachable chin guard. The problem with normal full face helmets is that they steam up when raining and peripheral vision suffers greatly.

I have been using a "Real" brand helmet with the flip down sun visor and also the clear visor for about three or four years now, it is a comfortable helmet and seems substantial, the padding and interior has worn well and the noise level is quiet, all unusual for a Thai helmet. Bought it for about 2,600b.
