It's only for big shots holding property 50 million baht in value and up and even then the tax rate is peanuts.
0.03 up to 0.1% really?
The poor pay almost all of the taxes in this country. They drink most of the alcohol, buy the lottery tickets, etc. and these types of taxes are a huge percentage of their wages ie. extremely regressive in nature. Those in control wouldn't have it any other way!
