Car Hire Options

Post by Pro V1 » February 23, 2020, 5:54 am

Hi Guys,

Currently we are living in NZ, and my missus is coming back to LoS for 6 weeks - March/April.We sold our car when we moved to NZ 9 months ago. Anybody got a vehicle they want to rent out, or can recommend a decent car hire company. She will be doing minimum miles - only traveling as far as Khumpawapi.

Cheers, Scottie

UD Car Rent, out by the airport, served me very well, once for several weeks hire, the other very recently for a couple of days. 1100 baht recently for very clean Vios. Longer rental, if I recall, open to negotiation. Delivered and collected the car where I wanted both times. I THINK both these numbers valid, certainly one of them. 0981011225, 0844080443. Pleasant people.

The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

A thought, maybe so far out of the ball park that it is silly, unless your dear wife is intending to drive each and every day from Udon to Kumpawapi, and is located fairly near to the town centre, then why not look at Taxi prices for those long trips .
She will not need the car for shopping etc, as everything in town is easily accessible and Udon now has a firly efficient taxi service not overly expensive, why pay Ik a day for a car to sit around most of the time over a period could be as much as 40k, when Taxis etc, when needed will be far less. Just a thought
