WTf my bill just turned up, 13,177b
February was 1260
3131
Since you are not on a domestic tariff you don’t qualify for the same reduction.

If you were on the 1.1.2 domestic tariff it would be 2,000 lower you are on the small business 2.1

It’s not the meter size but the tariff you are on.

I looked at the PEA calculator and the 2.1 small business was the one that matches your numbers

We received our bill yesterday, used 1627 units, charged for 1196 units, it never mentions a "discount" as such, just the way they have chosen to calculate, there is also still a 3% discount on the total bill.

The number of units used ( 1627 ) MINUS the number of units billed (1196 ) ( 1627-1196 = 431 units.) These FREE ( not charged) 431 units are your discount. If you take the number of units billed, 1196 and plug this number in the PEA calculator you will get the exact same figures as on your bill.
Stay safe out there.

^ Yes, understand that, 431 units for free which is equal to ~26.5% discount, calculated on the various tariff's.

Where do you pay it now Jon.
I went to the PEA office in UD Town a couple of weeks ago & it was closed.
Maybe it has reopened ???

Same small PEA office in UD town Mike , it was open the other day ..however i think their opening times are different now due to C19 as they used to be open 7 days per week 10-30 am to 6pm and the only closure day were the bank holidays and Buddha days etc.

Hope its not closed ..great quick n easy service go early stacks of parking n brekkie options .

Got my bill yesturday , and the discount was already calculated in . Looks like i get a 30% reduction of the units used , saving around 1500 baht . Happy with that .
Bonus! Some bills are coming with the discount factored in whereas others (like DM?) only had the discount applied on presenting the bill at the PEA office (not 7-eleven?). Is this linked to the online PEA registration thingmie that crashed when it was rolled out last April?

Our bill just arrived... no discount. I mentioned this to Mrs tam who went and checked with a few neighbors and it's about 50/50 on who did and who didn't but some homes are low-end users so not exactly an apples to apples comparison.

We are already in the throes of getting all the home utils transferred from long dead father-in-law's name to mercifully alive and kicking Mrs tam name. That in itself is stalled by the need for paperwork from a non-functioning amphurs office.

There was a handwritten sign on the door in Thai so I think it was only a temp closure due to the Covid.

As you say the 2 girls in there speak very good English and are very helpful and pleasant.

It is also good to visit Villa @ Tesco at the same time plus get a breakfast or early lunch.

My Power Bill for month of April (issued on 06 May) was roughly the same as for the months of December 2019 and January 2020 (the cooler months)

Just have to see what it brings for month of May and June 2020

our bill seemed to reflect our higher consumption during April-May billing period. So, no match with our February bill, higher by about a thousand baht.

You may well get a nice supri when you present the bill for payment ..at that point a discount may be calculated as it was in my case. .. btw dont pay it by phone app or at 7-11 use the PEA office then the disc is instant.
